Year 3

Hello and welcome to Year 3

Miss Eastgate

Mrs Moore and Mrs Lewis

This year we will have outdoor PE on a Tuesday afternoon and indoor PE on a Thursday morning. It is important that children have the appropriate PE kit in school on these days, to ensure that they can take part.

Outdoor PE

Children need a tracksuit, a pair of trainers, a jumper and maybe even a light waterproof jacket.

Indoor PE

Children need their yellow t-shirts, blue shorts and a pair of black pumps.

Earrings should not be worn for PE.

In year 3, children will receive weekly Maths and Literacy homework. This is given out on a Friday and is expected to be handed in the following Wednesday. The homework is aimed to build upon what we have learned that particular week.

Here are a few of the pictures from our Viking day! We had a fantastic time learning so many interesting facts about the Vikings
Year 3 and 4 have been set a challenge!
We are currently completing the Team AkOBE Marathon Challenge. By the end of our challenge we will have completed 85.2 miles! We have already achieved our first individual medals and will soon have our second 3 mile medal. Maybe you could join us and run, walk or jog a mile with us :)
This week our star is Cayden Grantham.

Daisy is our writer of the month - she has written a fantastic balanced argument all about Rio de Janeiro, The French Alps and The North East of England.
