What have we been up to in the Autumn term?
Christmas time has arrived! The children have been enjoying getting creative and decorating our tree. Christmas craft has been completed and will be on sale at the Christmas Fayre. We look forward to seeing you there. Cards and calendars are progressing well and we are looking forward to 'A Little Nativity' on Thursday. Rehearsals are in full swing and the children are fantastic as we are sure you will agree.
This week we have had great fun investigating ice in the water tray and finding things in it. Outdoors we explored animals that hibernate and made some animal homes. In maths we have been investigating measuring with cubes and talking about longer and shorter than.
It looks like the weather is starting to get colder so please remember to send your child with a suitable coat, hat and gloves, as we do spend time outdoors every day.
Nursery enjoyed wearing pyjamas and decorating a giant Pudsey Bear for Children in Need.
This week we have been painting bonfire pictures using wonderful orange and red colours. We also collected leaves from the playground, dried them out, painted them and created some lovely leaf prints.
